New funding programme Gerda Henkel Foundation: Prospect Utopia

The programme:

The programme is aimed at postdoctoral researchers worldwide in all disciplines supported by the Foundation – from archaeology to history to the social sciences. Research projects are funded that examine the future in its different forms and reflect on its interpretation and shaping. Possible topics encompass historical concepts of progress, community and justice. They also include current ideals of future forms of coexistence, the role of science and technological developments.

A total of 50 projects will be funded, each with up to EUR 50,000. The selection procedure is designed as a two-stage process.
