Voor postdocs (mentees)
Weet je niet zeker welke richting je carrière uitgaat? Misschien sta je op een kruispunt, overweeg je een toekomst buiten de academische wereld, of wil je gewoon groeien in je huidige rol.
Career Mentoring for Postdocs helpt je richting te vinden met steun van een mentor die inzichten, zelfvertrouwen en nieuwe netwerken biedt.
Alle UGent-postdocs vanaf het tweede postdocjaar met een lopend contract tijdens het traject kunnen zich kandidaat stellen. Bij de selectie wordt o.a. gekeken naar motivatie, engagement en een goede match met een mentor.
Voor professoren (mentoren)
Ben je een UGent-professor (minstens 10% aanstelling) die graag jouw ervaring deelt met postdocs en hen helpt hun loopbaan te verkennen — binnen of op de grens van de academische wereld?
Word mentor in Career Mentoring for Postdocs! Als mentor bied je een luisterend oor, deel je je ervaringen en stimuleer je de mentee om richting te vinden in haar of zijn professionele groei.

Career Mentoring for Postdocs helps you find direction with the support of a mentor who offers insight, confidence, and new networks.
All Ghent University postdocs who have completed their first postdoc year and have an active contract during the programme are welcome to apply. Selection is based on motivation, engagement, and a good match with a mentor.
For professors (mentors)
Are you a Ghent University professor (minimum 10% appointment) who would like to share your experience with postdocs and help them explore their career perspectives — within or at the interface of academia?
Become a mentor in Career Mentoring for Postdocs! As a mentor, you offer a listening ear, share your experience, and support your mentee in finding direction in their professional growth.
