[HORIZON EUROPE] EC is looking for evaluators for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships call 2025

If you are a Life Scientist

In view of the forthcoming 2025 evaluation, REA (Research Executive Agency of the European Commission) is looking for “new” qualified experts.
Specifically for the Life Sciences panel, they ask to submit an Expression of Interest to increase their pool of experts.

For who?

All active researchers having a PhD can act as an evaluator. Former experience with this funding scheme is not needed.

How experts are selected

When registered, invitations are based on relevant expertise, not on rank or position in your organization. Therefore, Postdocs would make excellent evaluators.

By evaluating Horizon Europe proposals, you will get the best training in proposal writing and learn valuable insights for your own proposal.

To maximize your chances of being invited, you can:

- choose the best possible keywords. If you have an interest to evaluate for a certain call (where you are not participating in): search in the topic for some keywords you can add to your expertise.

- contact relevant people of the European Commission.

- learn to know the project officers in your area of expertise at information sessions or brokerage events organized by the EC and express your interest in being an evaluator.
