[Afrika][HORIZON EUROPE] Calls for proposals on Infectious Diseases in collaboration with African partners (EDCTP3)

EDCTP3 Partnership

The African and European Research partnership on infectious diseases launches over €220 million in funding opportunities for 2025.

The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) focuses on the major infectious disease threats facing sub-Saharan Africa.

The Global Health EDCTP3 Work Programme 2025 has been published.

Vaccines against TB
Malaria therapeutics,
vaccines against Neglected Tropical Diseases,
Strategic training hubs for fellowships in public health (training in Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Modelling)
strengthening the Regional Networks of Excellence and Epidemic Preparedness (CSA)
Tackling diarrhoeal diseases in the context of climate and health transformative innovations
Transformative Innovations for improvements in the uptake, adherence or implementation of preventative/treatment/diagnostic solutions

The calls for proposals will open in late January 2025.

Interested consortia are invited to submit a short proposal by March 2025 (first stage).
Successful consortia will then be invited to submit a full proposal by September 2025 (second stage).
