Connecting expertise event on “Tackling healthcare challenges using smart systems” Building interdisciplinary collaborations around micro-and nanotechnology

AIM OF THE EVENT
The aim of this event is to connect complementary experts to identify the challenges our current healthcare is facing and where AUGent expertise can make a difference. We want to help identify research collaborations where interdisciplinarity boosts the creation of relevant smart systems of the future where micro-and nanotechnology are key. We also want to include assisting expertise needed in the development process to come up with successful and useful tools (patient inquiry, stakeholder cocreation, user tests…).

WHAT TO EXPECT?
You will be offered a mix of networking moments with presentations of different expertises present at AUGent. We will start the afternoon with a lunch where you can talk to different experts present. You will be offered Conversation starter, which is a tool that allows you to identify complementary researchers and book a table with them for a short talk. This tool can be further used during the break and networking reception.

FOR WHOM?
All postdoctoral researchers and ZAP-members from UGent/UZ Gent/VIB-UGent/imec-UGent and all researchers from the AUGent universities of applied sciences with an interest in this topic.

WHEN & WHERE?
This event will take place on Friday 10th November 2023 from 12am-6am at Zebrastraat Gent.
