[IOF] IOF Projects Call of December 2023 - deadline January 25th, 2024

New deadlines for IOF project proposals

IOF project funding can be applied at crucial stages of the development track of valorization-oriented projects to offer valuable support to research results/technology with clear value-adding potential (ConcepTT – StarTT - Advanced – Stepstone). 

IOF project proposals can be submitted continuously by all AUGent researchers with innovative projects. However, each calender year 4 submission dates are fixed. This allows us to compile the evaluation of the proposals.

New project applications have to be announced to the IOF-project department (iof@ugent.be), after which the application form will be made available.

An intake meeting prior to submission is mandatory. The involved stakeholders (ZAP, IOF and the TechTransfer department) are invited to this meeting. Besides a short introduction on the technology, this meeting serves to check the optimal funding track, and to identify potential issues towards the evaluation.

  • Min project duration: 1 year
  • Max project duration: 1,5 year
  • Announcement result: IOF-counsel March 14th, 2024
  • Max budget: €115.000

Advanced-Stepstone

For Advanced and Stepstone projects the deadline is the 7th of December 2023.

Call September

  • The September call for StarTT, ConcepTT and ConnecTT projects is still open. The deadline is the 23rd of October, 2023
