[EU] Submission dates for EU4Health 2024 Work Programme announced

Tentative Calendar 2024 regarding the open calls for proposals under EU4Health available

First wave of project proposals due on 5 Sept. 2024 focussing on Health Emergency Preparedness and Response, the second wave on cancer related calls have a deadline on 10 Oct. 2024. On 21 Jan 2025 a third wave of calls are due.

Focus area of the EU4Health Programme is on

  • improve public health (deadline 21/01/2025)
  • cross-border health threats (deadline 5/09)
  • sustained access to medicinal products & medical devices,  (deadline 5/09)
  • cancer control and care.(deadline 10/10 and 21/01/2025)

Call opens 23.05.2024 – Proposal submission 05.09.2024

  • CP-g-24-105 Call for proposals to support the development of novel antivirals (HERA)
  • CP-g-24-12 Call for proposals to support innovative manufacturing technologies and processes in the Union for medicines production (HERA)

Call opens 18.06.2024 – Proposal submission 10.10.2024

  • CR-g-24-37 Call for proposals to support integration of cancer images into the federated pan-European infrastructure to foster screening programmes
  • CR-g-24-39 Call for proposals to increase health literacy on cancer prevention and care
  • CR-g-24-43 Call for proposals on the development of social services for psychosocial support and rehabilitation for children and their families in paediatric oncology clinics in Member States and countries associated to the EU4Health Programme
  • CR-g-24-45 Call for proposals on EU Network of Youth Cancer Survivors

Be aware that

  • co-financing will be needed, since grants paid by the Union shall not exceed 60 % of eligible costs for an action unless in cases of exceptional utility, where the contribution by the Union may be up to 80 %.
  • overhead costs is restricted to 7%  of  the  eligible  direct  costs.
  • there is a specific proposal template for this programme (70 pg limit) that is available on the Funding and Tenders Portal of the European Commission.
