[KBS] The Belgian Heart Fund launches four calls for research in cardiology

The Belgian Heart Fund stimulates research in cardiology at Belgian research centers by launching calls for projects in various domains: basic and clinical research, research in cardio-oncology, sports cardiology...

1) Basic research – budget: € 20.000 per project:

This call concerns basis research in the field of scientific disciplines such as biochemistry, physiology, and pharmacology and their interplay and involves laboratory studies with cell cultures, animal studies or physiological experiments. 

2) Multicentre clinical trial – budget : € 100.000 per project:

This call concerns non-commercial projects for clinical research in the field of cardiovascular pathology. 

3) Clinical research - budget: € 20.000 per project:

This call concerns non-commercial projects for clinical research in the field of cardiovascular pathology.

4) Prize Dr. Léon Dumont - budget € 40.000 per project:

The Prize concerns basic or clinical research in the field of cardiovascular pathologies.

 

Deadline for these calls in 8 Semptember 2025 via the online platform.
