Via the Open Access platform UGent

The University Library Ghent offers a publication platform for (UGent) editors of open access journals via https://openjournals.ugent.be/.  Existing journals as well as brand new ones can use the platform to publish their journal online. 

Not only can you publish the articles, you can also manage the editorial process, such as accepting articles, organising peer review, contacting authors, etc.

In accordance with its mission to support high level research in Belgium, the University Foundation provides financial support towards the publication of high level scientific journals of which the scientific editorial committee is situated in Belgium. among others to enable Open Access. These are some of the considerations taken into consideration:

• making archives available in electronic form, preferably in Open Access,
• disseminating new issues on the internet, preferably in Open Access
