InView Legal
In InView Legal, Kluwer's legal database, you will find many Belgian legal journals and publications, as well as both Belgian and international legislation and case law. You will aslo find a number of compilations and models as well as the Commentaries on Articles there. Jura is available both in Dutch and in French.
Access
InView Legal is available both on and off campus via single sign-on. You can log in to the database using your UGent email address.
Searches
You can start a search in the search bar on the home page. Filter and search suggestions will be automatically displayed based on your search query. In the results list, you can filter by source type at the top (legislation, case law, legal doctrine, etc.) and by branch of law, date, author, or court on the left-hand side.
The specific keywords associated with a document are displayed at the top of that document’s overview page. By clicking on them, you can view search results linked to that keyword.
You can easily search by date in the search bar to find a court decision.
Tips
- You can download and print all documents you have access to through UGent.
- You can compare laws with earlier versions. Using the “current dd-mm-yyyy” button, you can compare different versions of legal texts.
- You will find various tutorials on the Wolters Kluwer website.
